New addition to the family!
Over the weekend, the Doucette-Hardy welcomed a new addition to our growing family: a beta fish named Dory! She's already BFFs with Vienne.

Enchanted Forest!
On Saturday, Vienne experienced one of the great Oregon traditions for the first time: Enchanted Forest! EF is an amusement park, built in the early 70s, that revolves around a storybook trail, where history's greatest storybook characters like Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, The Crooked Man, Rip Van Winkle, Snow White and Mary Had a Little Lamb come to life. Over the years, they've added a small roller coaster, a haunted house, a kiddie play area with a small ferris wheel and water boats, and more recently, a pretty sweet log ride and a lazer shoot 'em up type game. Grandma Sue and Grandpa Jim joined in on the fun! Vienne had such a blast!!

The blog is back! The blog is back!
Hello there! Thank you for joining me today as we celebrate the dusting off of Vienne's blog: Vienne's World!!
Not much occurred between now and my last blog post seen below. Well, at least not much that was picture/video worthy. I do have some cute video and pictures that I'll post ASAP from the time that Danielle and Vienne spent on the East Coast in April and May.
For now, here are a couple of cute photos - with Vienne in her pretty pig tails - right before one of her first days of daycare. Vienne is slowly acclimating to being in daycare. She cried her eyes out the first day we dropped her off, but her "ki-ki" made her feel better (that's her name for her silky purple pillow case that she got from her Nana Sian, that Vienne snuggles with for comfort). Of course she had a great time and ever since that first day, when we go to drop Vienne off, the tears have been less and less and the smiles have been more and more.

Vienne meet salsa. Salsa meet face.
Went out for Mexican last night...Vienne was such a well behaved girl. She even expertly swerved her mama's guacamole in favor of the entire dish of salsa!! Then she finished it off with a long drink from a cold bottle of pepper.

Vienne the artiste!
Today, Vienne traveled with her mama and her grandpa to the local art store, where she painted a surprise mug for her poppa! She had a blast and was a natural artist. She even painted on grandpa's hands a little bit.
