Halloween scares

Please don't think we are bad parents...but we got a chuckle recently when Vienne got a startle when she saw our new rotting friend. I'm not sure what is funnier: her reaction after seeing him or her trying to play it cool after she jumps. Classic....

Laurelhurst Park

Vienne's poppa is on paid leave from his job and one of the only upsides to it, is all the extra love and attention Vienne has gotten from having her poppa around the house full time! Vienne seems to be beside herself that her poppa has been around so much.

Earlier this week, Vienne traveled with her momma and poppa to Laurelhurst Park.

Vienne made her first trek to the legendary Pumpkin Patch, out on Sauvie Island. She got all gussied up in her new skeleton outfit and we were on our way! It was a little rainy and very muddy, but V seem to have a blast looking at the goats in the barn, sitting on a bale of hay during her debut hayride and looking at all the trinkets in the gift shop. At the end of the day, Vienne wasn't pleased that we were leaving!

Mall time with Grammy!!

On Saturday, Grammy Chris came up to visit and we all had a nice lunch at Stanford's, followed by an adventurous day at the mall!

Bring on Halloween and bath time!

Vienne is ready for Halloween, but not so ready to hang out with a bunch of wackadoos with crazy masks! Also, she had a great time the other night taking a bath with her Mama.

Eugene!

This past week, Vienne and Danielle spent a few days in Eugene with Aunt Carol and Uncle Paul and I joined them on Saturday. Fun was had by all! Vienne got a new dress at the Saturday Market (and her momma got a matching shirt!) and she enjoyed the jam band and old hippies dancing, she got reacquainted with the goats (click here) learned how to meow and just generally enjoyed herself.

R.I.P. Patty

A few weeks ago, we lost a dear soul: Vienne's great, great aunt Patty Dipold. Luckily, Vienne was lucky to have met her (or is it the other way around?) a few months before she passed away. She will be missed....
